Leadership Training: all elected and appointed student leaders (both student council member sand varsity team captains) participate in three intensive training seminars designed to develop leadership skills and diversity awareness.
Social Action Leaders: a corps of upper school volunteers charged with shaping diversity and social action programs, facilitating workshops, and planning service outreach.
Social Action Club organizes and performs community service led by students.
Hiatt Social Action Fund: student board charged with disseminating funds to Beaver clubs and off-campus programs that support the school’s social action initiatives.
Hiatt Summer Stipends: support students’ social justice work during the summer.
Cultural Clubs: Jewish, Latino, Asian, Del Sol, and student-initiated groups.
Gay Straight Alliance: students involved in raising awareness regarding the diversity of human sexuality, providing impetus for social action and creating a safe space for GLBQT members of the community.
Model U.N. Club sends delegates to the regional forums.
