Financial Aid
The goal of the financial aid program at BCDS is to provide funds to those students who have been admitted to the School and need tuition assistance. Every student who applies to BCDS may also apply for financial aid.

Financial Aid Facts:
    • Every year, over a quarter of BCDS students receive financial aid.

    • All financial aid is based on the financial need of the family of the student.

    • BCDS does not award merit scholarships.

    • The financial aid process at BCDS is separate from the admission process.

    • All families wishing to apply for financial aid submit an application every year.

    • Financial aid decisions are made by the Financial Aid Committee at BCDS based on the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) reporting system.

    • Applications for financial aid may be requested from the BCDS admission office
or online by going to www.nais.org and completing the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS).

    • A complete application for financial aid includes: SSS Parent Financial Statement from all parents (including spouses, if remarried),a signed federal tax return with all supporting schedules from the current year and the previous year, and copies of current year W-2's from all working parents (or IRS Form 1099’s or a Business/Farm Statement if self-employed).
Families who would like to request financial assistance should contact the Admission Office for a packet of information, including the application for aid. When applications are received by the deadline, the Admission Office notifies new families of admission and financial aid decisions by March 10. Applications for admission and financial aid received after the deadline are welcomed but can be considered only as space and funds allow.

THE FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR NEW STUDENTS IS THE SAME DATE THAT ADMISSION APPLICATIONS ARE DUE (FEB. 1).
