Each year, members of the BCDS community (alumni, current parents, trustees, past parents, grandparents, friends, faculty and staff, and even students) are asked through direct mail and personal solicitations to invest in the future of our students by supporting the Annual Fund at BCDS.

Contributions to the Annual Fund impact the operating budget, allowing BCDS to achieve a margin of excellence in education. A robust Annual Fund enhances the school’s ability to build and sustain a team of gifted faculty and attract a diverse student body. Unrestricted gifts are particularly valuable because they are made with the foresight that the needs of BCDS students and faculty change over time. These gifts permit the school to allocate resources where they are needed most during the current school year. As such, the Annual Fund plays a primary role in enabling the school to realize the progressive education mission that distinguishes a BCDS education – “to inspire students to realize their greatest potential.”
